Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - 3 to 4 Week Terms or 79 hrs to include clinical time. CNA course outline: The anatomy and physiology specific to the basic needs of a Nurse Aide. There will be a basic introduction to medical terminology, and the proper application. The student will learn the use of thermometer, how to properly take vital signs, I/O, proper body mechanics, bed making, bed baths, cleaning and disposal of bodily fluids, the cleaning of catheters and I/V lines to name a few of the skills in this federal/state regulated program.
Patient Care Technician - 7 to 9 Week accelerated or 255 hrs During this training course you will be studying a collective of several positions i.e., EKG tech, Phlebotomy tech, and Home Health Aide, and nursing assisting. Anatomy & Physiology - the body systems, medical terminology, patient services, coding, proper reporting, departmental responsibilities, infection control, vital signs, charting, assistance and physical examination, maintaining a clean and sterile environment, specimen collection, assisting patients with their activities of daily living, IV care, phlebotomist role in blood draws, supplies, venipuncture sites, and EKG materials, equipment and the identifying of life threatening dysrhythmias.
Pharmacy Technician - 3 month accelerated or 416hrsnot including clinical time. This course provides the student with skills that are important in assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing medication. Training in medication order processing, inventories, compounding, packaging, use of a prescription balance, HIPAA privacy act and computers. This program prepares graduates for certification as Certified Pharmacy Technicians.
Phlebotomy Technician- 3-5 Week term or 120 hrs to include the necessary blood draws for clinicals. Phlebotomy Technician course outline: The anatomy & physiology specific to the venous system, medical terminology associated with phlebotomy. How to understand the history and the role of doctor’s orders, blood glucose, laboratory supplies, tube selection and proper usage, labeling specimen, venipuncture procedures and sites( acceptable & unacceptable).
EKG Technician – 2.5 Week term or 100 hrs to include clinical time.EKG Technician course outline: Anatomy & Physiology specific to the cardiovascular system, medical terminology, coronary circulation, cardiac electro physiology, 12 lead EKG equipment and materials, identifying the basic and life threatening heart rhythms. During the clinical the student will learn to perform EKG’s as a physician would order them.
Home Health Aide – 2-3 Week term or 80 hrs to include clinical. Home Health Aide course outline: The anatomy and physiology specific to the basic needs of a home health aide. There will be a basic introduction to medical terminology, and the proper application. The student will learn the use of thermometer, how to properly take vital signs, I/O, proper body mechanics, bed making, bed baths, cleaning and disposal of bodily fluids, the cleaning of catheters and I/V lines.
BLS, Healthcare Provider, CPR, First Aide 4 to 5.5 hour course
Clinical Medical Assistant Program - 12 -16 Week term or 540 hrs to include clinical. Clinical Medical Assistant Program –Course Outline: The Medical Assistant program consists of 444 hours of classroom training and a 96 hours extern ship performed at a medical clinic or doctor's office. The program teaches front office administrative duties and back office laboratory procedures. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will have the skills required for employment in a doctor's office or medical clinic as a medical assistant. The student will learn anatomy and physiology specific to the basic needs of a MA. There will be an introduction to medical terminology, and the proper application. The student will learn the use of thermometer, how to properly take vital signs, and many other skills related to becoming a certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
Billing & Coding Specialist/ Medical Administrative Assistant; – 8wk day term for a total of 192hrsto include lab training. Billing and Coding Specialist/ Medical Administrative Assistant –Course Outline:
The Billing & Coding Specialist/Medical Administrative Assistant program consists of 192 hrs of intense medical administration training. This training prepares the student for work in hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, long-term care facilities, insurance companies, dental offices, home health care agencies, consulting firms, coding and billing services, and government agencies. In order to be prepared to fulfill the role of the above mentioned position, the student must be trained on front medical office duties, insurance coding, billing and etc. At the completion of this course, each student will be eligible to challenge the National certification exam in Billing and Coding Specialist
NCLEX-LPN Exam Review Preparation Course
Length of program: 6 months.
One day a week for 6 hours for a total of 24 weeks.

The NCLEX-LPN review will cover in details the following aspects of practical nursing; each section has its Pharmacology section incorporated in it. At the end of the course, a full pharmacology review will cover all sections covered previously. Each subject will deal with the description of the disease, nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis and nursing plans and interventions.
